David Gauzens

David was born and raised in Miami Florida. He grew up fishing the numerous waterways of South Florida, biking to lakes and canals to target peacock and largemouth bass. He bought his first kayak at a garage sale for $70 when he was 12 years old with money he earned selling mangos from the backyard. In 2010 David began guiding kayak fishing trips and interpretive Eco tours for the Miami-Dade Parks department. Through years of experience on the waters of South Florida David has honed his techniques for successfully targeting the most sought after gamefish in South Florida. As an avid outdoorsmen David has a profound passion for the environment and along with fishing enjoys camping, diving, and kiteboarding.
